Well, spring finally happened and suddenly there is not nearly enough time for crocheting. I’m not complaining though, this warm weather is lovely.
Today’s pattern is for these socks. With their open stitch design, these are perfect for cool springtime evenings. These are worked from the toe up, and then the heel is worked last. I used an absolutely gorgeous yarn by Cascade Yarns. It is listed as a worsted weight, but I think it seems closer to a #3 yarn. I’m not sure what would be a good substitute, maybe a #3 that is on the heavier side.
Supplies
3.5 oz worsted weight yarn (I am using Cascade Yarns Cherub Aran in color 502. This yarn is listed as a worsted weight, however, I would class it as a light worsted.)
